iZZiE, (also known as host/producer of the highly popular VQS New Music podshow and  all round martial arts nut specialising as a Wado Ryu style Kickboxing instructor)  trained from the age
of 4 in various forms of dance,and later in stage
theatrics-  is a self confessed control freak and in the driving seat
of everything studio here including writing, recording, vocals, live
instruments and engineering. She approaches her live gigs with the
same confidence, attitude and verve.

Accompanied at live shows by Lawrence Mahmood on electric bass and providing projected imagery, izzie commands her audience, note perfect
and supplying guitar/keyboard /sample parts, plying them further occasionally with free lollipops and
other interesting freebies- and 'no', she concludes,' we don't do
drummers or boring t shirts'.

In 2007, izzie Voodoo was named finalist in Song Of The Year for her
song ‘Sound’, picked by some of the biggest
names in music including Grammy Award winners and again in March 2009 took winner of the month at Song of the Year 2009 with 'Control Freak' (which was still in the studio at the time but now releases on Lippy Trip Records to the digital world on february 15th 2010 as the first of the years' "String of hit releases" ).
